Over the last 30 years we have trained with and studied a variety of well-experienced experts, each with their own unique perspective logically influenced by their frame of reference. We take value from each area and pragmatically adopt it to the civilian concealed carry community.

What an expert considers "basic" really isn't to a novice and they won't to be able to remember or execute under extreme duress. A highly skilled pistol competitor or federal law enforcement trainer has great insights to offer but they can and will react in ways that a civilian likely cannot when they most need to.

10-41 takes key concepts from the appropriate experts and simplifies them to consumable and practical skills that can be taught to our students. By breaking skills down into fundamental concepts and delivering these concepts using skilled adult education techniques, we can dramatically increase our student's practical ability to defend themselves.

While no one can project what an individual may encounter in an emergency, we can instill basic concepts (shooting on the move, seeking cover, for example) that will increase the likelihood that a 10-41 graduate can effectively survive and prevail in a violent encounter. Practice these skills over time and you have the building blocks to address your particular challenge.

We keep our classes small and use multiple instructors to ensure that we can coach each student effectively. It's a high-touch, relational approach to training. It's not the cheapest and it's not for everyone. But if your life is on the line, we don't think your first thought should be how much money you saved on your training and your gear.
