Defensive Handgun 2

LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

This course is an all shooting format that is focused on improving practical speed and accuracy. The class will include an initial marksmanship assessment, strong-hand and weak-hand shooting, shooting from/around cover, transitions and shooting while on the move.  There will be a number of practical tactical drills run during the class (example: F.A.S.T drill & "Dot Torture) that the client can both benchmark their current performance against other shooters and come back and practice on their own to continue their progress.

 

Participants must have taken a basic handgun or equivalent course. Call to discuss if you have other equivalent qualificaitons. 

  

Pre-registration is required; PRIVATES OR SMALL GROUPS ONLY

 

Required Kit: 

​

• Functional duty size pistol suggest.  No micro-compacts, mouse guns or 380's

• Round count typically + 300.  Suggest you bring 500

• Functional gun belt, strong-side outside the waistband holster and at least 3 magazines. Loaner mag holders provided if you don't have them

• Students are required to provide their own eye protection.  We provide electronic ear protection for use in the class

• Bring your own ammunition or purchase at the range.

• Water proved; bring your own hydration & normal FL outside kit  

• ALL weapons must be unloaded upon arrival to the class.

Price: $200/person weekdays, $275 weekends.  All Wednesdays,Thursdays and Fridays available by reservation.  2nd and 4th Saturdays
